285. EDWARD EUGENE6 PELOT (William Maxwell5, Joseph Sealy4, James3, John Francis2, Jonas1) was born in Charleston, South Carolina ca. 1848 [one source says October 1850] and died in Norfolk, Virginia in 1912. He married in 1873 ELLA SUSAN NIXON (NISSON) who was born in Charleston ca. 1852. She was the daughter of John Blair Nixon, proprietor of the Eagle Hotel, Charleston. In 1873, she was admitted to the First Presbyterian Church of Columbia from the Zion Presbyterian Church in Charleston.
Edward Eugene was working for his father in 1866 in Charleston.[1] In 1874, he was admitted to the First Presbyterian Church of Columbia from the Methodist Church in Bamberg, South Carolina. He was living in Columbia, South Carolina in 1880.[2] By 1890, he had moved to Norfolk, Virginia.

ii. [497+] Irving (Irvin) Bonner, b. Dec. 1876, m. Lucia Ann Daniels.
iii. [498] Lizzie (Elizabeth) Rosalie, b. April 1877, baptized 21 April 1877, First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, South Carolina. She died on 26 July 1948. She m. Robert W. Bazemore. He died on 14 April 1948. They are buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.[3] No children.
iv. [499]Mary Ellen (perhaps Mary D.) (Amy), b. January 1879, m. Sylvester Zerphy Moore of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was born on 12 June 1879 and died on 26 August 1928. Amy died in the middle 1950s at the DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Child (surname Moore):

(Pete) DuPont, b. 6
September 1921 (adopted, record sealed in 1925). He married Alimae Townsend of Aiken, South
Carolina in 1944/5. She was born on 27 (or 21) August 1922 and died on 9 July
1975. Paul Moore died in Florida on 12 January 1993. Children (surname Moore):
a. Paul DuPont Jr., b. 21 August 1945. He married _____ in _____, now divorced.
He lives in Norfolk, Virginia. No children.
b. William Pelot Moore, b. 24 June 1948. He married Alice Kay Adams on 1 May 1992.
William works for AT&T as a Technical Writer. As such, he builds intranet
web sites and provides company documentation and publication support. They
reside in Apopka, Florida northwest of Orlando. No children.
